Today is a great day for me... firstly, gp don have lesson and mr goon allows us to watch movie. secondly, for chinese lesson everyone pon except yijia, sharon, weiyee and me.. so pathetic. in the end teacher was quite angry and she demanded to have an extra lesson.. so lesson was cancelled and we have plenty of time to do the things we want. The four of us were discussing what to bring to China during winter time. its was fun chatting with them and time seems to fly pass so fast. After that , i went to the dance room where they were preparing for the performance at Nanyang CC. Actually it was a bit rush, 1 hour do practice, makeup, tie hair.. blah.. blah..
we went to the CC and do a last min practice before everything starts. it was really exciting because those who were coming are from Japan. So we went up to the roof top there and started to interact with them. Alot of them were in their traditional clothings and when i first saw it, i was so envious of them. We took initiative to begin a conversation and i shd say it's quite terrible because of language barrier. luckily they knew a bit of english. haha.. but most of the time is sign language. i think all of us are quite shy and non of us knew what topic to talk about. but as time goes by, i found them really interesting and kawaii. And the most important point is tht their hair stlye was extremely stylish. so cool.. can you imagine tht their sch actually allows them to style their hair. furthermore, there is a huge difference between a Japanese and a typical singaporean. they looked so mature whereas we look so kiddish. hmm.. at the CC, we perform a dance for them and in return, they teach us how to make origami and dance their traditional dance. it was really fun as we can join in with them and interact with one another. the last item for the day was exchanging of phone numbers or email. moreover, gifts were given to us as an appreaciation.i was really thankful to those whom i met today. i will always remember this day and i hope tht our sch would give us more opportunity to have more of these exchange programmes. sayonara..
